We believe that a single action, like preparing a simple meal for our friends and family, can make a difference in the community and that collective action can greatly impact our region and the world. Through education and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good.
WHO IS JOHN SHIELDS?
Chef John Shields––otherwise known as the Culinary Ambassador of the Chesapeake Bay––has been cooking nearly his whole life. He began his career cooking with his grandmother Gertie Cleary at an early age and never looked back. Little did he know that he would become an accomplished celebrity chef owning many restaurants, writing four popular cookbooks, starring in two national public television series, and so much more.
