It's Time to Start Your Garden: Chesapeake Farm & Bay to Table
Baltimore City Master Gardeners will share how to plan and pick the best herbs for specific environments. We'll visit Max's Degrees at the farmers market to learn about dried herbs and blends. Chef John and Mary will prepare a classic herb-encrusted chicken with rosemary potatoes and herby treats!

You don’t need a lot of land to grow an expansive kitchen garden… you can work your green thumb by planting and growing a small herb garden. Baltimore City Master Gardeners will share how to plan and pick the best herbs for specific environments. We’ll also stop by Max’s Degrees - The Spice Guys, at the farmers market to learn the wonders of dried herbs and various blends. Then Chef John and Library CEO Mary will get busy in the kitchen preparing a classic Herb-Encrusted Chicken with Rosemary Potatoes along with an array of herby treats.
